Unitree A2 and B2 Price (2026): Industrial Quadruped Configurations, Verified at US Checkout

Prices verified August 25, 2026 · Read from live product listings and the manufacturer's own storefront on that date · Next review: September 8, 2026

The short answer. As of August 25, 2026, the Unitree A2 was listed for US purchase at $31,900, rising to $46,900 for the A2-W Pro, and the B2 at $85,900, with the wheeled B2-W at $94,600. On the same day, Unitree's own online store showed $100,000.00 for both the A2 and the B2 — alongside the words “Contact us for the real price” and a product marked unavailable, with no way to buy. The $100,000 is a placeholder, not a price.

Why the manufacturer's store says $100,000

This is the single most misleading number in industrial quadruped procurement, and it is repeated in roundups and quoted back to us in buyer conversations. Here is exactly what we saw when we checked on August 25, 2026:

  • The manufacturer's product pages for the A2 and the B2 both display $100,000.00 USD.
  • Both pages also state “Contact us for the real price” and show the product as unavailable.
  • Neither page offers an add-to-cart or checkout path. The buying route given is an email to the manufacturer's global sales address.

In other words, $100,000 is a round contact-sales stand-in used on a storefront that is not selling these two models to you. Treating it as MSRP produces a false anchor in both directions: it makes a genuine $85,900 quote look like a 14% discount, and it makes a $31,900 A2 look implausibly cheap for what it is. The transactable prices are the ones below.

Unitree A2 prices, by configuration

The A2 is the lighter, faster of the two lines. Prices read from live US listings on August 25, 2026.

ConfigurationLocomotionUS price (verified Aug 25, 2026)
A2Legged$31,900
A2-WWheel-leg$36,900
A2 ProLegged$40,900
A2-W ProWheel-leg$46,900

The A2 listing we read stated: one LiDAR unit, an HD camera, an 8-core CPU with Intel Core i7, a carrying capacity of up to 100 kg, 45° slope climbing, and over five hours of runtime per charge. We reproduce those as the listing stated them. The listings did not spell out, line by line, what the Pro step-up changes — so we do not invent a spec delta for it; that is a question for a written quote.

Unitree B2 prices, by configuration

The B2 is the heavier industrial platform and roughly 2.7× the price of a base A2.

ConfigurationLocomotionUS price (verified Aug 25, 2026)
B2Legged$85,900
B2-WWheel-leg$94,600

The B2 listing we read stated: real-time gait switching, multiple depth cameras, a 20 kg continuous load carried over 15 km, a 40 kg maximum load, the ability to climb 40 cm stairs, and a 5 m/s top speed.

A note on comparing the two spec sheets: the A2 listing quotes a 100 kg carrying capacity while the B2 listing quotes a 40 kg maximum load. Those are the numbers each listing publishes, measured and defined differently, and we have not normalised them into a single comparison. If load capacity decides your purchase, get the definition — static versus continuous, and over what distance — in writing before you compare the two.

The part most quotes leave out: spares and consumables

For a facility deployment, the configuration decision is usually cheaper to get wrong than the spares decision. A single spare battery for a B2 costs more than a mid-range laptop, and a wheeled conversion package costs more than a whole entry-class robot dog. Prices read on August 25, 2026:

ItemUS price (verified Aug 25, 2026)
A2 remote controller$370
A2 battery charger$700
A2 battery (single)$1,500
B2 foot pad$90
B2 two-handed remote control$350
B2 charger$1,200
B2 protective bracket$1,240
B2 standard battery$4,200
B2 Helios 5515 LiDAR$12,400
B2-W wheels package$23,400

Two practical consequences. First, a realistic B2 line item is not $85,900 — a working deployment with one spare battery, a charger and a protective bracket sits closer to $92,600 before any sensing add-ons. Second, several accessory listings publish no price at all (navigation kits and leg packages among them), so a quote that itemises them is worth more than one that does not.

A2 or B2: which one matches the job

  • Research, teaching and mobile manipulation platforms — the A2 class. It is the entry point into industrial-grade quadrupeds at roughly a third of the B2's price, and its listing is the one quoting long runtime and steep slope capability.
  • Heavy patrol and industrial inspection duty — the B2 class. You are paying for the load platform, the stair capability and the sensing options built around it, including the Helios LiDAR as a separate line.
  • Smooth floors, ramps and distance — the wheel-leg variants (A2-W, B2-W). They cost $5,000 to $8,700 more than their legged siblings and trade rough-terrain versatility for speed and endurance on prepared surfaces.
  • Multi-unit fleets — ask about spares ratios before unit price. At these prices the spares package, not the robot, is where a fleet quote goes wrong.

What we could not verify on August 25, 2026

Stated plainly, because an incomplete answer beats a confident guess:

  • None of the listings we checked published stock status or lead times for these configurations.
  • The listings did not state what the Pro configurations change relative to the base A2, so we do not publish a spec delta for them.
  • We found two live listings for the B2-W on the same day, at $94,600 and $97,600. We publish the lower figure because it is the configuration our buying path reaches, and we flag the discrepancy rather than hiding it — on a purchase this size, a $3,000 spread is a question to settle in writing before you order.
  • Warranty term and who honours it in the US is not stated consistently across listings; we ask that on your behalf rather than assuming it.

Buying on a purchase order, or buying more than one?

Industrial quadrupeds at this level are quoted, not carted: cohort pricing, spares ratios, sensing add-ons, warranty terms, institutional paperwork and lead times. Tell us the configuration and the quantity and we will come back in writing with current pricing and availability.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a Unitree A2 cost?

Verified on August 25, 2026: $31,900 for the A2, $36,900 for the wheel-leg A2-W, $40,900 for the A2 Pro and $46,900 for the A2-W Pro, at a US seller's live checkout.

How much does a Unitree B2 cost?

Verified on August 25, 2026: $85,900 for the B2 and $94,600 for the wheel-leg B2-W. Add spares — a standard battery is $4,200 and a charger $1,200 — before comparing quotes.

Why does Unitree's own store show $100,000 for the A2 and B2?

Because it is a contact-sales placeholder rather than a price. On August 25, 2026 both manufacturer pages displayed $100,000.00 USD together with “Contact us for the real price”, marked the product unavailable, and offered no checkout. The transactable US prices are $31,900 and $85,900 respectively.

What is the difference between the A2 and the B2?

Class and price: the A2 is the lighter platform starting at $31,900, the B2 the heavier industrial one starting at $85,900. Their listings publish load figures defined differently — 100 kg carrying capacity for the A2, a 40 kg maximum load and 20 kg continuous over 15 km for the B2 — so confirm the definition before treating either as a like-for-like number.

Which industrial quadruped is right for inspection duty?

The B2 class, chosen around its sensing rather than its base price: LiDAR is a separate line item at $12,400 for the Helios 5515, and the wheels package that converts duty to prepared surfaces is $23,400. Both belong in the quote, not in a footnote.

What is the lead time?

The listings we checked did not publish one, and we do not estimate delivery dates we have not confirmed. We will get a written lead time for a specific configuration and quantity on request.

How we verified this page

Every price on this page was read on August 25, 2026. The A2 and B2 figures were read directly from their own live product listings that day; the remaining configurations and the accessory prices were read from the same seller's live listings on the same date and cross-checked against our automated daily price capture, which reads each listing independently. The $100,000 manufacturer figures were read from the manufacturer's own storefront pages on that date. We did not copy figures from a price sheet, a press release or another publication, and we did not convert them from another currency. Specifications are reproduced as each listing stated them; where a listing was silent, this page says so. Prices on this class of hardware move, so this page carries a verification date and a review date rather than a claim to be permanently current.
