Booster K1 humanoid robot, front and rear views on a plain background — 95 cm, 19.5 kg, 22 degrees of freedom
The EDU is the middle of the three Booster K1 configurations a dealer lists in stock, at $9,999.99. The hardware is the K1 platform in full: 95 cm, 19.5 kg, 22 degrees of freedom, the design that won the RoboCup 2025 KidSize league and that over seventy universities and research institutions now run. What separates the EDU from the entry tier is onboard AI computing, battery life and warranty coverage rather than anything mechanical.
This is the configuration most teaching departments end up on: cheap enough to buy two, capable enough to carry a semester of locomotion and embodied-AI coursework. Below it is the GEEK Edition at $7,500; above it, the Professional at $12,500, which is the tier to specify if reinforcement-learning inference has to run on the robot.
Two things to settle in writing before a purchase order goes out. First, the dealer’s tier names do not map one-to-one onto Booster’s own edition names, so confirm the compute and battery specification rather than trusting the label. Second, at our last check on August 21, 2026 no FCC equipment authorization was on record for the K1 — ask for radio-compliance documentation before ordering.
This is the configuration page for the Booster K1 EDU. Every other configuration, the full specification tables and the price history are in our Booster K1 procurement guide. Prices shown are dealer-listed prices read from that configuration’s own product page, not manufacturer MSRP, and they are re-read automatically every day; the date above is the last reading.
